Failed Posts – Troubleshooting
What to do when a scheduled post fails to publish.
Overview
Occasionally a scheduled post will fail to publish. Someli logs the error, notifies you, and gives you a clear path to resolve and retry.
Common Failure Reasons
- Expired token — The social channel needs to be reconnected (see Token Expiration & Reconnect).
- Rate limit reached — The platform temporarily blocked the post. Someli will retry automatically.
- Account suspended — The social platform has restricted the account. Check the platform directly.
- Invalid media — The attached image or video no longer meets platform requirements.
- Network timeout — A temporary connectivity issue. Someli retries up to 3 times.
Retrying a Post
Go to Content → Failed Posts. Click on any failed post to see the error message. Resolve the cause (e.g., reconnect the channel) then click Retry Now. If the post continues to fail, click Download Error Log and send it to support.
